The heat exchanger and oil cooler on any KAD44 should be cleaned and the "O" rings changed, every 5 years to prevent overheating. A KAD44 should be using Volvo green coolant. Never attempt to try and change over to Volvo Penta VCS yellow coolant. Mixing yellow and green coolant can cause gelling and blockages within the cooling system.
